Cajun Spice Mix Recipe

Cajun Spice Mix

Kickin' it up

This Cajun spice mix is perfect for spicing up Gumbo.  It's also good in soup or traditional New Orleans Style Red Beans and Rice.  Just place 3 cups of picked and rinsed red beans in a large crock pot.  Cover with hot water and cook on high for 3 hours.  Then add onion, bell pepper and 1 tablespoon of the Cajun Mix and cook an additional 3 hours.  Salt to taste and serve over cooked(sticky) rice.  This mix also makes an excellent dry rub for meats.  So mix you up a batch and spice up your next meal.........       N'awlins Style!

    1. Dehydrate onion and garlic peices in the oven (or whatever you have to use!) and then grind them in whatever you have to use! :) Works wonderfully!!
