Save time and money
Make your own mixes. No need to drag out all the ingredients and spend time trying to find that recipe. Just mix up a big batch, label it with the directions and its ready when you are. Make it whole wheat or plain. Now your husband and children will have no excuse when it comes to making you pancakes in bed on Mothers Day because you did half the work for them.

ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the recycled bag post but I would love for you to come link this mix up, too! lol Have a great weekend, Crystal!
That's really cool. I make my own bisquick, but I've been seeing more and more mixes coming up, too. I like to make mixes in a bigger batch, but then I'm finding that I'm gettnig out my recipe box, too. So smart!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea! I already make pancakes from scratch so it makes sense to mix up a big batch of the dry ingredients to have on hand.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe. I love being able to have mixes on hand like this, makes life easier:)

Good morning! New follower here. Awesome blog and post! I've glanced over to my right a few times while writing my comment and I'm trying not to get distracted, but the Mud brownie and apple cake look so delicious. I'll have to save your site and come back and look at it after breakfast. Your blog is making me very hungry, lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! Just wondering, there's no flour in it? Is it a powdery mix or is it liquid? If it is a powdery mix, how do you get it that way? I'm still pretty new to cooking, so I don't know much about this stuff, lol. I'd love to make it though and I'll have to look into the syrup recipe.
Have a great weekend!
Sarah
