  18. I swapped 1 cup of the flour with whole wheat, and the rolls were wonderful, nice and fluffy. They disappeared all in one sitting, which I didn't even expect, looking at the amount of the rolls. One concern though: they were sitting in the baking dish for an hour or two until they made to the table, and their bottom was kinda wet when we digged in. Is it normal? Should have I taken them out of the dish before they cooled?
Anyway, it's a keeper, thank you for the recipe.

  19. Hi Ilana thanks for stopping by. I am so glad you enjoyed the recipe. To answer your question I would take them out of the baking dish and place them on a cooling rack if you make them ahead of time. The steam will cause the bottoms to get soggy. And a metal pan will make a better bottom crust than a glass dish will, which will reduce the soggy bottoms:)
FYI....I'm working on a whole-wheat roll recipe ....I should have it in the recipe box within the next few weeks, so check back...

  22. Hi!
Merci beaucoup for all the lovely recipes. My question is can I freeze the dough just before(the dough would be in the muffin tins) I put them in the oven ?

  25. Looks good, but what do you mean by "coat them with oil" before you place them in a pan? I am familiar with make the balls, place in pan and then oil the tops or spray oil on the plastic wrap to cover. I'm just a bit confused. Thank you!

    1. I place oil in a small bowl and roll the balls in it .......... thats just the way my mother in law taught me and thats the way I do it it isn't imperative that you do it that way.....just as long as the pan and the tops are oiled to prevent sticking. Sorry for the confusion I hope this helps : )
