| Banana Nut Muffins This is my Mom's recipe, she made it for me and my little brother growing up. I always think of my childhood when I bake them for my kids. This recipe card written in her handwriting makes me smile. It also makes me think...I print off most of my recipes from the web and stuff them into a folder... So I'm going to buy some note cards and 4 boxes one for each child and I'm going to start WRITING all their fav's... Maybe I'll add some photos and little storys too! I did add one extra ingredient to her perfect recipe Banana Pudding Mix! Its optional and will turn out great either way. They seem to be less sticky the next day when I add the pudding mix. And they're even more banana-y! |

I love the addition of the banana pudding mix. I will certainly give this recipe a try!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good recipe. I know what you mean about the handwritten recipe cards. I have my mom's recipe cards now, and they are so special to me now that she isn't with us any more. I found your blog today via Sunday Social, and I am really enjoying it! I am a new follower.
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds like a wonderful breakfast for me :)
ReplyDeleteLove it
Those look so good. I love the idea of the pudding in the mix. And I love your idea for the recipe cards. Thanks for sharing on Crazy Sweet Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteOh I like the idea of adding the pudding mix, that would make them so moist!

ReplyDeletebanana bread is the ultimate comfort food! yum. please link them to Foodie Friday Hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteOh my Country Momma, those muffins look delish. thank you for sharing such a special recipe. I am trying to follow your lead and keep better grasp of my family's favorite recipes too. I have a binder with clear plastic page covers. I print my favorite recipes from my favorite blogfriend kitchens, ahem. Then, I slide them into these nice little covers where they're protected from my flour covered fingers by the plastic... Not my idea, it was Michelle of Michelle's Little Piece of Heaven blog, that bought it for me as a surprise. That's what BFFs are for.
