Leftover Ham Recipes

Recipe #1
Southern Quiche
Now that the Holidays are over
and your culinary creativity is
spent....Try this easy leftover ham recipe
that will quickly become a family Favorite.

Recipe #2
Cheesy Ham and Potatoes
This is a quick and easy dish
that kids love....Now my leftover ham
is all gone.....But don't throw away
that ham bone just yet....tomorrow we'll
make New Years Black-Eyed Peas
with it.

Recipe #3
New Years Black-Eyed Peas

Black eyed peas have been thought
to bring good
luck for thousands of years...
In the south they are especially
held dear....During the Civil War the north
would take or destroy all stored foods
except field corn and black-eyed peas
which they thought were only fit for animals

to eat.....Black-eyed peas and Corn bread
are still southern staples today..
and thats pretty lucky

Happy New Years..Ya'll

  4. I left the south 35 years ago, but we still have our black-eyed peas and cornbread on New Year's day! There are just some superstitions and foods you can't let go. I was planning on making a quiche tomorrow night and your recipe looks perfect!
