Tart Dough Recipe

  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter(cut into cubes and chilled)
  • 6 Tbs. ice water
  • 2 Tbs. whipping cream
Place flour, sugar and salt into a food processor and pulse to mix.  Add chilled butter and pulse until crumbly.  Add water and cream 1 tablespoon at a time pulsing, when dough comes together into a ball stop.  Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead just until it comes together(careful not to knead to much).  Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hr.  Return to floured surface and cut into 6 equal sized pieces.  Press into tartlet pans prick steam holes in bottom using a fork and chill for 30 minutes.  Bake @350 for 15-20 minutes.  After cooling fill with Lemon Curd or Chocolate Pudding.......
